Jame: "We can fight any team in the world"

Outsiders' in-game leader Dzhami "Jame" Ali believes that his team's level of play allows it to fight against the best representatives of the CS:GO pro scene. He made such a statement in an interview with the English-speaking studio covering IEM Rio Major 2022, where they discussed David "n0rb3r7" Danielyan's adaptation process.

I don't think n0rb3r7 understands all of our strats yet, but we've been training a lot these six months. It's become much easier. We can fight any team in the world. Things just have to line up.

Jame also explained what sets the Outsiders' style of play apart from other teams.

Overall, all the teams play very well. It's hard for me to talk about how different our style is because I play in this team. I think it's like... We take the best things from the best teams. It's like we're playing like the best teams in the world, and the connotation of us doing something differently is probably due to the fact that we have a sniper as IGL. I look through the scope instead of taking the zones.

The interview with the captain of Outsiders took place after a victory over fnatic, which saw the Russians advance to the Legends Stage of the ongoing Major. Among other things, Jame shared his opinion on Overpass, where his team unexpectedly won with a 16:1 scoreline.

I didn't expect things to go that way. On Overpass, I always expect a tough game. It's been quite a while since we last won in such a lopsided manner. Everyone knows that. Usually we have OTs over and over, so I'm very happy everything ended so easily. <...> Actually, we played praccs against them where everything was the same. We knew 100% they would pick Overpass. They have nothing to choose because they feel insecure on other maps.

Outsiders made it to the IEM Rio Major 2022 Legends Stage after securing three consecutive victories in the Challengers Stage. Before getting the better of fnatic, the team also bested IHC and Vitality.
