Outsiders through to Legends Stage at IEM Rio Major 2022; Grayhound eliminated
The fourth round of the Challengers Stage at IEM Rio Major 2022 saw Outsiders defeat fnatic 2:0 – 16:1 on Overpass and 16:14 on Mirage. This was the third victory for Dzhami "Jame" Ali's men in the current stage of the Major, which allowed them to secure a ticket to the Legends Stage.
After the loss to Outsiders, fnatic now find themselves in the 2-2 pool. Tomorrow, November 3, the Europeans will have their last chance to qualify for the Legends Stage.
Besides fnatic, fighting for promotion will be Vitality, who, after falling to GamerLegion and Outsiders, managed to get the better of Grayhound. The elimination meeting ended in a two-map affair – 16:6 on Inferno and 16:12 on Mirage.
The fourth round of the Challengers Stage will be wrapped up by the match for a spot in the Legends Stage between FURIA and GamerLegion, as well as the elimination game, where Cloud9 will face off against Evil Geniuses.
