BIG and Evil Geniuses won their round 1 matches of the Challengers Stage at IEM Rio Major 2022. The Germans took over FURIA in overtime (19:16 on Vertigo), while the North Americans defeated the representatives of the Asian region in IHC (16:9 on Nuke).
