9INE and ATK through to EPL Season 17 Conference

9INE and ATK have joined the list of teams that will take part in EPL Season 17 Conference. These squads earned tickets to the tournament after their successful runs at the regional qualifiers.

9INE won the European division of ESL Challenger League Season 42. The Poles started the playoffs with a victory over Bad News Eagles, after which they were knocked down to the lower bracket after falling to BLUEJAYS, where they eliminated HEET, Bad News Eagles and 1WIN, and in the grand final took revenge on BLUEJAYS. It is worth noting that in the decisive match, which took place in a best-of-five format with a one-map advantage for the winners of the upper bracket, the champions managed to bounce back after being 0:2 down.

ATK were successful in the North American part of ESL Challenger League Season 42, where, after being sent to the lower bracket by Nounce, they consecutively defeated Iron Blood, TeamOne and MIBR before confidently closing out three maps in a row against Nounce in the grand final.

With 9INE and ATK now qualified, the list of currently known participants of EPL Season 17 Conference has expanded to ten teams. Six other squads will be known after the regional and national qualifying events are played out.
