CS:GO legends from Brazil and Sweden to clash in showmatch before IEM Rio Major 2022 grand final

The IEM Rio Major 2022 organizers have announced on Twitter the showmatch that will take place before the grand final of the upcoming Major. Clashing in the exhibition game will be teams consisting of the Brazilian and Swedish CS:GO scenes' legends.

ESL in its announcement did not disclose which players will be featured in the showmatch, as well as details about the format of the meeting and the map on which the confrontation will play out. It is only known that the match is scheduled for November 13, 18:00 MSK.

Showmatches are traditionally held on the final day of Majors. Previously, both current professional players and retired legends, as well as talents of the English-speaking coverage studio, took part in such matches.

IEM Rio Major 2022 will run from October 31 to November 13. The competition will see 24 teams competing for a total prize pool of $1.25 million.
