Vitality top HLTV.org ranking

Vitality have topped the ranking of CS:GO pro scene's best teams according to HLTV.org. Dan "apEX" Madesclaire's squad overtook the NAVI and FaZe duet that has been holding the first two spots since March of this year.

Among the leaders, it is worth noting the rise of Liquid to the top 3. After reaching ESL Pro League Season 16's grand final and a successful run at the Americas RMR, the team managed to overtake NAVI, who fell out of the top 3 for the first time since May 2021.

Within the top 10, things got better for G2, who gained one place, and Outsiders, who recently won ESL Challenger Rotterdam 2022. In turn, Cloud9, FURIA and MOUZ dropped down the rankings, though insignificantly.

Team Spirit moved closer to the top 10 after winning Flow FiReLEAGUE 2022 Global Finals. ENCE, BIG, Eternal Fire, paiN and 9z were also among those who gained more than one position, while Astralis and Movistar Riders showed the biggest regression in a week, losing five and eight places, respectively.

The HLTV.org's ranking is updated weekly and primarily takes into account the results for the last two months. The team's achievements over the past year are also considered, while the number of points for past success decreases every month.
