ZywOo breaks coldzera's record for most kills in one match in ESL Pro League Season 16 grand final

Vitality's Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut posted 143 frags in the ESL Pro League Season 16 grand final against Liquid, setting a new world record for most frags in a single series, the tournament organizers wrote on Twitter.

The previous record of the CS:GO pro scene belonged to Marcelo "coldzera" David and was set in the EPICENTER 2017 grand final. Five years ago, the eminent Brazilian, being part of SK, got 130 frags and helped his team beat Virtus.pro 3:2.

Over the five maps of the decisive confrontation at ESL Pro League Season 16, ZywOo averaged a 1.39 rating, posting 143 frags and dying 93 times.

The sixteenth season of the ESL Pro League played out in Malta from August 31 to October 2 and ended with the victory of Vitality. The MVP award went to ZywOo, who finished the event with a 1.42 rating and played only one map with a rating below 1.0.
