faveN to miss Europe RMR after falling ill

BIG player Josef "faveN" Baumann will not be able to help his team at the upcoming European RMR event. The German esports athlete will miss the competition due to illness, as the organization announced on social media.

For the duration of the RMR, the BIG roster will be completed by Elias "s1n" Stein, a member of the club's academy team. Previously he was submitted as a substitute.

It is the third time faveN drops out of the BIG roster due to illness. In July, he was forced to stop playing right before the Roobet Cup 2022 playoffs, after which he missed IEM Cologne 2022.

Earlier, BIG reported that the reason for Baumann's absence from the two aforementioned tournaments was abdominal influenza. This time the organization said that the player has a "medical situation that requires him to rest at home."

The Europe RMR featuring BIG will take place on October 4-9 in Malta, with sixteen teams competing for eight tickets to IEM Rio Major 2022.

BIG will use the following lineup at the Europe RMR:

 Johannes "tabseN" Wodarz
 Florian "syrsoN" Rische
 Karim "Krimbo" Moussa
 Nils "k1to" Gruhne
 Elias "s1n" Stein
