Liquid, FURIA and Cloud9 cement themselves as Group D's leaders at ESL Pro League Season 16

Liquid, FURIA and Cloud9 have cemented their lead in Group D at ESL Pro League Season 16. After victories in the opening round, these teams won their second matches and now have six points each.

The second day of action in Group D saw Liquid defeating Evil Geniuses (16:7 on Inferno and 16:8 on Dust2), the Brazilians taking over Movistar Riders (16:3 on Ancient and 16:13 on Nuke), and Cloud9 clinching a victory over Eternal Fire (16:12 on Dust2 and 16:11 on Overpass).

Matches of the third round will take place tomorrow, September 23. The matchday will kick off at 13:30 MSK with a meeting between Cloud9 and Movistar Riders, the outsiders Eternal Fire and Evil Geniuses will face off at 17:00 MSK, while at 20:30 MSK, Liquid will go up against FURIA.
