maLeK resumes work in Evil Geniuses and takes over as Strategic Coach

Evil Geniuses have announced on their social media that Damien "maLeK" Marcel will transition into a Strategic Coach position in the club's CS:GO division. EG resume cooperation with the specialist four months after his suspension from work with the main team.

Evil Geniuses did not reveal maLeK's specific responsibilities in his new role. It is reported that the coach will work with all the rosters under the organization.

In May of this year, the Frenchman was moved to an inactive role amid poor results of the North American team. It was later revealed that he also had a conflict with former EG's in-game leader Jake "Stewie2K" Yip.

A few months after maLeK's suspension, former Copenhagen Flames coach Daniel "vorborg" Vorborg took charge of the Evil Geniuses' main team. Besides, the club made significant changes to the lineup and replaced Jake "Stewie2K" Yip and William "RUSH" Wierzba with Sanzhar "neaLaN" Ishkakov and Jadan "HexT" Postma.
