Astralis announce women's team

Astralis have announced a women's team on its official website. The Danish club has signed a European mix that previously performed under the name SUL CLAN.

Astralis' female roster includes esports athletes from five different countries: Norway, Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany and France. The team will be coached by Spanish specialist Rafael "FeldmaN" Rodriguez, who previously worked with the x6tence men's roster.

Astralis is the fifth major organization to sign a women's team in 2022. Previously, NAVI, BIG, Evil Geniuses and NIP expanded their CS:GO divisions in the same way.

The debut of Astralis' female lineup will take place in the European division of the second season of the ESL Impact women's league, where the women made their way through open qualifiers under the SUL CLAN tag. The regional part of the tournament that will see two teams advancing to the LAN finals kicks off on September 8.
