Americas RMR first round seeding announced

The organizers of the upcoming Americas RMR event have unveiled the first round seeding on their official website. The tournament with six spots at IEM Rio Major 2022 up for grabs will be held in Sweden from October 5 to 9.

Sixteen participants who have qualified for the RMR through the open qualifiers and direct invitees will compete according to the Swiss system. The competition format implies best-of-one matches, except for promotion or elimination meetings that will be played in a best-of-three format.

The first round seeding of the Americas RMR is:

Six winners of the Americas RMR will attend IEM Rio Major 2022 along with the sixteen best teams from the European qualifier and two representatives of the Asian region. The $1 million Major will take place in Brazil from October 31 to November 13.
