kane: "Many people believe that I am untenable as a coach, but I am sure that I'm one of the best"

In an interview with Metaratings, Ukrainian coach Mikhaylo "kane" Blagin, who joined EC Kyiv at the end of August, commented on the decision to resume his career after departing NAVI in 2019. He stated that he is learning English and is determined to prove his worth as one of the best specialists in CS:GO.

There is progress in English but I understand that six months of learning is not enough. I was determined to continue my coaching career as I have something to prove. Still, many people believe that I am untenable as a coach, but I am sure that I'm one of the best.

Blagin is currently trialing with the Ukrainian team. According to him, his goal is to improve the position of the team in the world rankings.

Besides the addition of a new coach, EC Kyiv announced the benching of Vadim "Flarich" Karetin and Oleksandr "Smash" Turchyn. The latter continues to play in the starting five, while the Latvian was replaced by Vladislav "Kvem" Korol.
