Astralis roster generated $3.8 million in revenue for the club

Esports organization Astralis has published its financial report for the first half of 2022 on its official website. During this period, the club's CS:GO roster brought in the most revenue, earning $3.8 million.

The report does not state how exactly Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander's squad earned this amount. Of the publicly-known sources of income, the most notable ones are money from the sale of PGL Major Antwerp 2022 stickers, as well as partnership agreements with tournament operators ESL and BLAST.

Compared to the same period in 2021, the income that the CS:GO roster generated for the club has slightly decreased. In the first six months of last year, the team earned $148,000 more.

The CS:GO roster has become by far the most profitable of all Astralis' sources of income. In the first half of 2022, the League of Legends team brought the club $1 million, the FIFA roster generated $108,000, the North American division made $189,000, the Nexus gaming center earned $364,000, and Pixel.tv brought in $162,000.

Overall, during the reporting period, Astralis suffered a loss of $850,000. According to the report, this was primarily due to low income from sponsors and merchandise sales.

In March of this year, Astralis reported on its financial condition for the year 2022. Among other things, it was revealed that the CS:GO team brought 70% of the club's total revenue in 2021.
