Evil Geniuses to start BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022 with RUSH as stand-in

American esports athlete William "RUSH" Wierzba will step in for Evil Geniuses in the team's first matches at BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022, the organization has announced on social media.

Wierzba will temporarily replace Timothy "autimatic" Ta, who will miss the start of the tournament due to personal issues. His return is expected in time for the additional Gauntlet stage.

RUSH was recently excluded from Evil Geniuses' main team and moved to the Carpe Diem roster, from which Jadan "HexT" Postma was brought in as a replacement, while Sanzhar "neaLaN" Ishkakov was signed to take over the IGLing duties, previously assumed by Jake "Stewie2K" Yip.

At BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022, Evil Geniuses will compete in Group C, taking on FaZe in the opening meeting on August 21. Besides the North Americans and the world's highest-ranked team, the quartet will feature Heroic and BIG.

 Evil Geniuses will start BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022 with the following lineup:
