FalleN: "Imperial's goal is to build a strong team for the Major in Brazil"
In an interview with DRAFT5, Imperial's in-game leader Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo spoke about the team's main goal for the second half of this year. The Brazilian, as expected, outlined IEM Rio Major 2022 as the most important tournament for him.
Toledo wants his team to come to the Major in a form good enough to contest a playoff spot.
Imperial's goal is to build a strong team for the Major in Brazil so that we can not only qualify for the tournament but also get the opportunity to play on the stage. We want to be on stage in Rio and live the best Major in history.
When I left Liquid to play with the Brazilians, I wanted to feel the enjoyment I had for eighteen years again. I missed it. I'm in the final stage of my career. The Major in Brazil will be held very soon. We need to come there in a good form.
IEM Rio 2022 will take place from October 31 to November 13. The prestigious tournament will feature 24 participants competing for a total prize pool of $1 million.
