coldzera: "It's hard to admit it, but my time is up. I've already won everything I could"

00NATION player Marcelo "coldzera" David admitted that he is now past the peak of his individual form. During a live stream on his Twitch channel, quoted by Globo Esporte, the Brazilian said that he is currently fully focused on building his young teammates.

I'm past my peak. I got as far as I could and now I have to help young players. It's hard to admit it, but my time is up. I've already won everything I could. Now I want to play for youngsters more than they do for me. They don't have to play for me. It's a new Counter-Strike generation. I had a time when I played very well. Now I'm more of a team player who helps guys develop and grow.

coldzera is a two-time winner of the best player in the world title according to HLTV.org, which awarded him in 2016 and 2017. On a team level, he has won numerous prestigious tournaments including the Majors MLG Columbus 2016 and ESL One Cologne 2016.

The eminent Brazilian has been representing 00NATION since the beginning of this year. Since then, the team has not managed to achieve any significant results and recently underwent a massive roster rebuilding, after which they finished in 5-6th place at ESL Challenger Valencia 2022 and 13-16th at IEM Cologne 2022.
