G2 put Aleksib on transfer list

G2 are ready to consider transfer offers for Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen, the current IGL of the squad. The Finnish esports athlete himself announced it via his Twitter account.

Aleksib did not specify if he was removed from the main roster. At press time, G2 have yet to comment on their player's statement.

A few days earlier, the media reported on G2's intentions to replace the captain and coach Rémy "XTQZZZ" Quoniam. After that, the club's Founding CEO Carlos "ocelote" Rodriguez and the G2 skipper on Twitter hinted that the source's information was not true.

The team has been playing with Virolainen on board since the beginning of 2022 and has not won a single trophy ever since. The biggest achievements of the European team during this time were 2nd place at IEM Katowice 2022 and 3-4th place at BLAST Spring Final 2022.
