Boombl4 excluded from NAVI main roster
NAVI's in-game leader Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhailov has been excluded from the team's main roster, as reported on the official website of the Ukrainian organization.
In the announcement on Natus Vincere's roster changes, it was noted that the reasons for the decision to replace Mikhailov have to do with high reputational risks for the club and are not related to his game. Earlier, NAVI announced their intentions to reconsider further cooperation with Russian esports athletes amid military action in Ukraine.
As of now, there is no information about who will take the vacant place in the lineup. The organization will separately announce the roster for BLAST Premier Spring Final 2022, which will be held from June 15 to 19.
Boombl4 joined NAVI three years ago. Together with him, the team won many big tournaments, including IEM Katowice 2020, BLAST Premier Global Final 2020, IEM Cologne 2021, PGL Major Stockholm 2021 and BLAST Premier World Final 2021, as well as the prestigious Intel Grand Slam Season 3 award. At the recently concluded PGL Major Antwerp 2022, the team finished as a runner-up, losing to FaZe in the grand final.
Current NAVI lineup:
Aleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev
Denis "electroNic" Sharipov
Ilya "Perfecto" Zalutskiy
Valeriy "b1t" Vakhovskiy
Andrey "B1ad3" Gorodenskiy (coach)
Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhailov (benched)
