Copenhagen Flames players showcase new grenade on Overpass

Playing on Overpass, Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard of Copenhagen Flames threw an incendiary grenade that impressed the CS:GO community. The grenade was used in the Danish team's match against SINNERS at the ongoing Europe RMR B tournament.

Using Fredrik "roeJ" Jørgensen's boost, Nygaard found a way to throw an incendiary grenade directly from the defense team's spawn into the narrow passage from the terrorist base towards the "monster". In this round, CPH Flames decided to push through this direction, so Jørgensen covered the fire with a smoke grenade along the same long trajectory, which allowed Rasmus "Zyphon" Nordfoss to take an advantageous position unnoticed by the opponent.

The grenade was also noted by the CS:GO developers, who, on their official Twitter account, pointed out a unique case when teams continue to find new features on a map that was introduced to the game 9 years ago.

The match between Copenhagen Flames and SINNERS concluded with a victory of the Danes. You can follow up on Europe RMR B on the event’s page on our website via this link.
