NAVI academies part ways with Russian players

NAVI have parted ways with all Russian players representing the academy team system. This was announced in a video on the club's YouTube channel by the club's host Yana Dychenko.

It was reported that Russian players left both the NAVI Junior and NAVI Youth rosters. Although no specific names were mentioned, based on the previous applications of these teams, it is likely that these are the following esports athletes: Vladislav "latt1kk" Vydrin, Dmitriy "fen2k" Gladskikh, Vladislav "xiELO" Lysov and Maxim "sh1ne" Vinogradov.

The organization has yet to announce who will be featured in the renewed academy's lineups. Based on the video published, Rodion "fear" Smyk, who was previously excluded from the team, has likely returned to NAVI Junior to take over as the team's IGL.

The squad with fear on board will also include Daniil "headtr1ck" Valitov, Andrii "nipl" Kukharskyi and Mark "UNBR0KEN" Varakuta, with a fifth player still not being unveiled.

The upcoming matches of NAVI Junior are expected to take place at WePlay Academy League Season 4. At the moment, the tournament has not yet been announced.

The news about NAVI's decision to part with all the Russian players of the academy rosters followed a few days after the club's CEO, Evgeniy Zolotarev, stated that the organization does not intend to continue working with the players who live and pay taxes in Russia amid the hostilities in Ukraine.
