poizon to stand in for fnatic in final qualifier for European RMR event

Bulgarian AWPer Valentin "poizon" Vasilev has joined fnatic ahead of the final open qualifier for the European RMR event, according to Andreas "Samuelsson" Samuelsson, Manager of the club's CS:GO division.

Vasilev became a free agent after leaving Complexity last October.

In the fnatic roster, poizon will replace Iulian "regali" Harjău. At the same time, the young Romanian player will subsequently return to the server and continue to represent both the main squad and the team's academy.

In his message, Samuelsson added that fnatic will finalize the lineup for ESL Pro League Season 15 in the next two days. According to him, such uncertainty is due to the fact that the team is currently experiencing some problems because of coronavirus.

fnatic did not manage to make it to the next European RMR event through three past open qualifiers. The final qualifying championship for European teams, following which five squads will secure tickets to the event, will conclude tomorrow, February 6.

At the fourth qualifier for the RMR event  fnatic will play with the following lineup:

Freddy "KRIMZ" Johansson
Alex "ALEX" McMeekin
William "mezii" Merriman
Peppe "Peppzor" Borak
Valentin "poizon" Vasilev (stand-in)
