FURIA and FaZe win opening matches of IEM Katowice 2022 group stage

The opening matches of Group B at IEM Katowice 2022 have finished with the victories of FURIA and FaZe. The Brazilians took over Astralis (16:12 on Overpass and 16:11 on Mirage), while Finn "karrigan" Andersen’s squad managed to defeat Liquid (11:16 on Mirage, 16:6 on Ancient and 16:9 on Inferno).

The next matches for the mentioned participants of the event will take place on February 19. FURIA and FaZe will play in the semifinals of the Group B upper bracket, while Astralis and Liquid will continue the competition in the lower bracket with no room for error.
