FURIA part ways with VINI

FURIA have decided to part with Vinicius "VINI" Figueiredo, the esports athlete announces on his Twitter.

The Brazilian added that he is currently considering the offers regarding his future career and will keep the community updated on any news. At the same time, it is not yet known whether the player still has a valid contract with the club or has already become a free agent.

Explaining the reasons for parting with VINI, FURIA's coach Nicholas "guerri" Nogueira said that in 2022 his team wants to find a specialized AWPer.

VINI has represented FURIA for the past four years. During this time, the team has won many regional tournaments, and in October 2020 was placed 3rd in the HLTV.org ranking.

According to the information previously published by journalists, in the future Figueiredo may be signed by Liquid. The North American organization wants to see the player alongside Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski, Richard "shox" Papillon and Nick "nitr0" Cannella.

In turn, FURIA are considering Rafael "saffee" Costa from paiN as a replacement for VINI, as reported by Globo Esporte. At the moment, the next tournament where the Brazilian team will show up remains unknown.
