The 26-year-old eSports athlete has been playing for Astralis since October 2016. During that time, the team has won numerous prestigious championships, including four majors - ELEAGUE Major 2017, FACEIT Major 2018, IEM Katowice 2019, and StarLadder Berlin Major 2019.
As a reminder, a week earlier, Rossander said that the lineup had not yet reached an agreement with Astralis on contract extensions, which expire in January 2022. At this time, the situation with the remaining members of the Danish squad is unknown.
It is also worth noting that in July, the authoritative portal HLTV.org, citing its own sources, reported on the intentions of Astralis coach Danny "zonic" Sorensen to end his partnership with the organization. Current Heroic coach Nikolai "HUNDEN" Petersen is expected to take his place.
The next tournament with Astralis will be ESL Pro League Season 14. The Championship will take place shortly after the summer off-season, which runs until August 15.
