s1mple is the MVP of IEM Cologne 2021
The authoritative portal HLTV.org has crowned NAVI sniper Alexander "s1mple" Kostylyev as the most valuable player of IEM Cologne 2021. The Ukrainian player's team became the tournament champion by defeating G2 in the grand final.
The average rating of s1mple in Cologne was 1.51. However, he played only one out of fourteen maps played with a rating below one.
It should also be noted that during the championship Kostylyev set the record of the professional stage for the number of aces in one tournament.
IEM Cologne 2021 was held July 6-18 in the LAN-tournament format. Together with the title of the champion NAVI earned $400,000 from the total prize fund.
