FaZe returns to the top-30 of HLTV.org ranking
FaZe took 17th place and returned to the top thirty for the first time in a month following another update of the world's strongest teams according to HLTV.org. This was possible thanks to a successful performance at IEM Cologne 2021, where Finn "karrigan" Andersen's squad made it to the playoffs.
Renegades made even more progress during the week, climbing 28 places to 22nd after getting into the group stage of the LAN-tournament in Cologne.
The top 5 of the ranking represented by Gambit, NAVI, G2, Heroic and NIP remained unchanged. BIG and Vitality came closer to the top five, moving up to the sixth and seventh positions, respectively.
The HLTV.org rankings are updated weekly and primarily take into account the results of the past two months. Teams' achievements over the past year are also taken into account, with the number of points for past successes decreasing each month.
