Gentle Mates signs Iberian Soul

French esports club Gentle Mates has announced the signing of a Counter-Strike 2 roster – the organization will be represented by the Spanish team Iberian Soul, which has been competing without the club's support for the past nine months.

Iberian Soul recently won the European qualifier for the upcoming StarLadder StarSeries Budapest 2025 Counter-Strike 2 tournament, which will take place next month.

Gentle Mates currently occupies 18th place in the official ranking of the world's strongest Counter-Strike 2 teams according to Valve. The squad will debut under the new tag this week at the DraculaN Season 1 LAN tournament in Budapest.
