Two Spirit players will remain isolated until the end of IEM Cologne 2021

Team Spirit players Abdul "degster" Hasanov and Boris "magixx" Vorobiev, who were placed in quarantine after arriving at IEM Cologne 2021, will remain in isolation until the end of the tournament. According to a club press release, this decision was made by German authorities after it became known that the Russians were in contact with a man who later tested positive for coronavirus during the flight.

ESL received information from German health authorities which revealed that degster and magixx were in close proximity to a passenger who tested positive for Covid during the flight to Germany.

Both players have been under quarantine since arriving in Germany and will remain there until July 19, as officially advised by German authorities. Degster and magixx tested negative upon arrival and have had no direct contact with ESL staff or other players.

The players are feeling well and will continue to play from their hotel rooms. Their teammates had no contact with them and will continue to play from their official playing area.
