daps returns to the scene to coach Evil Geniuses
Former Counter-Strike professional player Damien "daps" Steele, who made a transition to Valorant after he was released from Gen.G, has decided to make a comeback and has returned to the CS:GO competitive scene, where he will coach the Evil Geniuses squad. This has been announced on the North American multigaming's official Twitter account.

Steele is stepping in Wilton "zews" Prado's shoes as the head coach of EG. The experienced specialist from Brazil, who has been coaching the team for over a year, has been dismissed from the organization at the beginning of the month.
daps, as a player, was part of such teams as Liquid, OpTic, NRG and Cloud9 and Gen.G. He ended his professional career in CS:GO last October and joined Valorant. Without much success, the Canadian decided to quit the shooter Riot, explaining it by his lack of enjoyment of the game.
Evil Geniuses will take part in IEM Cologne 2021 together with their new mentor. The tournament will take place in a studio format July 6-18.
