chopper leaves Team Spirit

Team Spirit have parted ways with 29-year-old Russian player Leonid "chopper" Vishnyakov, the club announced on social media.

Dear chopper, thank you for everything!

Over the past seven years, we’ve shared hundreds of memorable moments and victories that will be a part of Team Spirit forever.

As captain, you led us to the world title, you won the IEM Cologne 2025, the IEM Katowice, and countless other trophies, etching Team Spirit’s name in gold in the history of competitive CS.

Many of the values that make the very foundation of Team Spirit today were built under your leadership and together with you.

Thank you for the journey we’ve taken together. You will always be our legend.

Vishnyakov had represented Team Spirit since early 2019. He was moved to the bench in December 2025 and remained there until today. Earlier, chopper stated that he does not intend to return to the professional Counter-Strike 2 scene.
