Valve started blocking steam accounts for CS:GO boosting
Valve began to completely disable Steam accounts, whose users were found to raise ranks in CS:GO matchmaking through boosting. This was reported on the forum Reddit.
In a letter from an employee of the technical support of the gaming platform reported that the company does not support artificial increase of the rank level in CS:GO or profile in Steam, and because the user agreement prohibits the exchange and sale of accounts, in such cases provides an indefinite blocking of the account.
It is noteworthy that the user is allowed to create a new Steam account and continue playing CS:GO.
This is the first case of complete disabling of Steam account for boosting. Previously, Valve introduced a temporary ban on accessing matchmaking for boosters in Dota 2.
