OverDrive: AVANGAR are testing new lineup
AVANGAR, which have withdrawn from the professional CS:GO scene in 2020, has invited five young players for a trial period. This was revealed to insider Alexey "OverDrive" Biryukov.
According to the source, the test roster includes barely-known eSports athletes ICYxd, Remill, Delinan and lUMiER, as well as Temirlan "TNDKingg" Nurmagamet, who played for AVANGAR from February to April 2020. The club did not comment on the published information.
As a reminder, AVANGAR was represented on the CS:GO competitive scene from 2017 to 2020. The team's highest achievements were second place at the StarLadder Berlin Major 2019 and the BLAST Pro Series Moscow 2019 title.
In December 2019, the AVANGAR roster was sold to Virtus.pro. The Kazakhstani organization subsequently introduced a new roster of young players, which lasted until the spring of 2020. On April 1 last year, the club announced the cessation of competitive activities and focused on the development of eSports arenas in Kazakhstan.
