FunSpark ULTI Europe Final with $250,000 prizes announced
FunSpark ULTI event will be held for the European region with a prize pool of $250,000 on April 19-26. The championship will act as a replacement for the previously announced LAN-event, which was to take place in China.
FURIA has declined an invitation while neither TYLOO nor Asian qualifiers winner Wings Up will be able to compete. Their places, along with the two spare slots for the invitees, were taken by Evil Geniuses, Heroic, Virtus.pro, BIG, and Complexity.
Joining the invited teams will be European qualifiers winners HAVU and forZe. North America will be represented by Extra Salt, whose core lineup players finished third in regional qualifiers as part of Cloud9, but received an invite due to withdrawal from the competition of Chaos and Ze Pug Godz, who ranked higher in the qualifiers.
