ESL opened Request For Proposals for new ESL Members

Tournament operator ESL began accepting applications from organizations that want to join the ESL Pro League as a partner. The corresponding announcement was published on the company's official website.

Until March 25, everyone can send an application, which will be subsequently considered by the league management and the twelve current partner teams. The selection process will be completed by September of this year when ESL Pro League Season 14 begins.

Off the back of an incredibly difficult year for the world, I have been fortunate to work with a group of committed, ambitious and creative people that have driven the ESL Pro League to new records and to new expectations. 2020 was the year that ESL and some of the biggest names in esports bit the bullet and decided to throw significant energy and resources into a new approach: an approach that shares governance, that shares responsibility, that shares revenues and that shares success. And it has been that successful 12 months that has put us in a position to open this invitation to other organisations: those already in CS:GO and those looking to find the best platform in which to commit to the game. We know we are on the right tracks and we have already seen the fruits of our collaboration. It is time to see who wants to join our project.

Commissioner ESL Pro League

ESL Pro League partnership program was introduced in early 2020. Astralis, Complexity, ENCE, Evil Geniuses, FaZe, fnatic, G2, mousesports, NAVI, NiP, Liquid, Vitality and 100 Thieves signed agreements with the league. 100 Thieves subsequently left the CS:GO competition scene and terminated the contract.

All partner teams participate in Pro League revenue sharing, as well as IEM Series and ESL One tournaments. According to a published press release, each partner was promised at least $1 million in revenue in 2020, but the organizations received an average of 20% more at the end of last year.
