degster & Patsi joined Team Spirit

Team Spirit announced the lease of Espada players Abdul "degster" Hasanov and Robert "Patsi" Isyanov. According to the official announcement, the agreement includes a buyout option if the Russian duo is approved at the end of their one-month trial period.

The 19-year-old Hasanov replaced Artem "iDISBALANCE" Yegorov in the main roster, who was put up for transfer. The 17-year-old Isyanov will go through a tryout for a sixth-player role.

Yegorov has represented Team Spirit since March 2019. With him, the team has won several tournaments, including RMR for CIS ESL One Road to Rio, and participated in the ESL Pro League S11 (13-15), DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 (9-12), ESL Pro League Season 12 (7-8), IEM Beijing 2020 (9-12) and DreamHack Masters Winter 2020 (9-12).

"I am grateful to Artem for the two years he has spent at Team Spirit. Together we were able to build a stable team that performed decently not only at the local level, but also in the international arena. However, we have big goals and we need reinforcements to achieve them. In the next tournaments, we will play with degster and I hope he can prove himself in our team. He is one of the most talented young players in CIS and we appreciate the opportunity to work with him. If everything goes well, Abdul will sign with Team Spirit for the next few years. In addition to changes in the main roster, we need tactical changes to strengthen the team in this new environment. The introduction of a sixth player is a logical step forward. For several months we looked for the right, must-have young talent to implement the rotation. Robert is literally the best option we could have hoped for. For now, he is only on trial, but I sincerely wish him good luck and hope that our cooperation will be as fruitful as possible." Nikita Chukalin, CEO of Team Spirit, comments on the changes in the roster.

The debut tournament for the renewed roster of Team Spirit will be the DreamHack Open January 2021, which will take place on January 27-31. The team also won the invitations to the prestigious IEM Katowice 2021 championship, which will take place in the middle of February.
