FunPlus Phoenix confirms GODSENT deal

Chinese multi-gaming FunPlus Phoenix organized a big event to introduce the current GODSENT lineup as its team players. This was announced by Ryan Friend, owner of Rush B Media.

FunPlus Phoenix manager Petar "peca" Markovic confirmed the published information. Commenting on Friend's Twitter post, he said that the organizations reached an agreement on the transfer, but new contracts with the players have not been signed at this time.

Who will be the fifth member of the new FunPlus Phoenix roster has not been disclosed. According to insider Jarek "DeKay" Lewis, the European squad may be staffed by ENCE player Miikka "suNny" Kemppi, who was moved to reserve and put on a transfer a few days earlier.

This is FPX's second attempt to enter the professional CS:GO scene. The Heroic lineup was signed in early 2020, but the deal was declared null and void after Patrick "es3tag" Hansen left for Astralis.
