G2 bench JaCkz

G2 organization excluded Audric "JaCkz" Jug from the main composition. The 28-year-old French player was transferred to the reserve and received permission to negotiate with other teams.

In a published press release, G2 manager Jérôme "NiaK" Sudries noted that the management was faced with a choice between JaCkz and François "AmaNEk" Delaunay.

When NiKo arrived, we made it clear that our goal was not to explore a six-man roster. We had six players with different profiles and qualities, so our goal was to determine which combination would work best on the field. It’s all about balance and synergy, and even if we can anticipate certain things, the server is always the best judge. Our test focused on JACKZ and AMANEK, and we quickly realised that our system benefited more from François’ qualities.

So it is with a heavy heart that we decided to remove JACKZ from the active roster, and allow him to explore his options for 2021. Audric is a truly passionate and committed player who has proven to have the qualities to perform at the highest level. I would like to thank him for his genuine and unfailing dedication over the past two years, and I have no doubt that he will contribute to the success of his future team.”

JaCkz has been playing for G2 since November 2018 and during this time has helped the team to win tournaments such as Good Game League 2019 and Champions Cup Finals. This year's best results were the finals of IEM Katowice 2020, ESL One Road to Rio and DreamHack Masters Spring 2020, which for the time being allowed to lead the ranking of the strongest teams in the world according to HLTV.org.

The next G2 match will take place on December 12th against FURIA in BLAST Premier Fall 2020 Finals.
