DeKay: Chaos intends to shut down CS:GO deparment

American multi-gaming Chaos is exploring potential transfers for all of their professional CS:GO players, as they intend to leave the professional scene of the game. This is reported by several sources close to the situation insider Jarek "DeKay" Lewis.

According to one informant, the decision to close the division of the shooter from Valve was dictated by investors Chaos. The organization will focus on other areas, including the growing popularity of Valorant.

Chaos presented the current composition six months ago. During this period, the team won regional tournaments ESEA MDL S34, Mythic Invite League S1 and FunSpark ULTI 2020, as well as took 3rd-4th place in the DreamHack Open Summer 2020 and ESL One Cologne 2020. In September, the team lost captain Joshua "steel" Nissan, who moved to Valorant, and the Mexican Edgar "MarKE" Maldonado was invited to the vacant seat.
