Mustang Crew investor offered match-fixing
Ilya Serkov, the manager of Mustang Crew, stated in the Skype conference to The Gamers Network that the investor of the organization offered the players to take part in match-fixing because he was unable to pay their salaries. All members of the team refused to take fraudulent actions.
After this incident, Serkov contacted the investor to clarify the situation. It turned out that he had business problems caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
The manager of Mustang Crew added that the whole team stops cooperating with the organization. The official group of Mustang Crew in social reported bankruptcy of the club, but later this post was removed.
Recall that Mustang Crew was created in March this year, headed by former Gambit player Mikhail "Dosia" Stolyarov. The members mostly performed at local Russian competitions and didn't make it to any international tournaments.
