Aerial stepped down due to sick condition

ENCE player Jani "Aerial" Jussila took a break from eSports for an indefinite period because of health problems. This was reported on the official website of the Finnish organization.

Aerial explained that the reason for this decision was the bad health he had been facing for a long time in his comment. At the same time, the 27-year-old esports athlete could not define the period of time he would need to recover before returning from the inactivity.

“I have felt issues with my wellbeing for a while, which ultimately hinders my capability to compete at this level. This decision was extremely hard to make and it took me a long time to make the call. Now it’s time for me to prioritize myself and my wellbeing over everything else. I would like to thank my teammates for their understanding, our fans for all their support and to everyone at ENCE for their help. I’m not sure when I’ll be able to come back to play yet. Now it’s time to put focus on myself.”

Due to the loss of a player, ENCE has announced that it will withdraw from the Elisa Invitational tournament next week and will qualify for the BLAST Premier Fall 2020 Showdown. At the moment it is not known who will take the Finnish team slot in Group B, where MAD Lions, AGF and Apeks will also play.

A few days earlier ENCE finished their performance in the European RMR tournament DreamHack Open Fall 2020. The team left the regional championship among the main outsiders, losing matches against North and NiP.
