cogu steps in as GM & coach for MiBR
MIBR introduced Rafael "cogu" Camargo as a coach and general manager. The 35-year-old Brazilian will work in his new position at least until the end of 2020.
In times of CS 1.6 cogu was one of the main stars of MIBR, representing the organization from 2004 to 2009. During this time, the main achievement was the victory at ESWC 2006, which brought Brazil the first world champion title in Counter-Strike. Camargo finished his career as a player in 2017, after which he trained such teams as VNS and Fakol.
After signing a contract with MIBR, he promised fans maximum transparency and explanation of all decisions made.
I am very happy to be back. In recent days, while the deal was not yet completed, I rarely managed to sleep. I gave up a lot to realize my dream and become a champion with MIBR again. I promise to tell about everything that happens to the team. Victories, failures, problems in the team - we will document it all and present it to the fans.
Camargo said that MIBR line-up will be staffed in the next two days. It is expected that Vito "kNgV-" Giuseppe and Alencar "trk" Rossato, who have valid contracts with the organization, will be joined as stand-ins by Vinisius "vsm" Moreira, Leonardo "leo_druNky" Oliveira and Lucas "LUCAS1" Teles.
The next tournament for Brazilians will be BLAST Premier Fall Series 2020 from November 2 to 4 and in the second season of Flashpoint league from November 9 to December 6. Both championships the team will play from boot camp in Serbia.
