hAdji retires as pro Counter-Strike 2 player

30-year-old French esports athlete Ali "hAdji" Haïnouss announced his retirement from pro Counter-Strike 2. He revealed the news via his X social media account, adding that he has no intention of leaving the discipline completely.

After years of dedication and chasing dreams, I’ve decided to retire as a player.

I’m forever grateful to all the organizations and teams that gave me a chance. From French teams to international ones, every single one taught me something about the game and about myself, and I believe each experience helped me grow as a person.

That being said, my love for the game and competition hasn’t diminished, and I’m ready to bring my experience, work ethic, and passion to any staff or team willing to give me the opportunity.

Haïnouss has competed on the pro Counter-Strike scene since 2015, representing clubs such as Monte, 3DMAX, Falcons, LDLC, and many others. Over the course of his career, the Frenchman has earned $138,000 in prize money.
