Tribo to Major is the final RMR tournament for South America

Omelete & Co and Streamer Alexandre "Gaules" Borba have published the first details of the final RMR tournament for South America. At the event, named Tribo to Major, the six teams will play a total prize pool of $15,000 as well as 2,500 RMR points.

The four participants are already known. These are BOOM, Isurus, Imperial and RED Canids who participated in the previous RMR tournament. They will be joined by the two best teams from the open qualifiers, which would involve up to 512 teams.

Tribo to Major will run between September 18th and October 11th. The group stage will be held in a Round-robin format, with the four best teams in the playoffs. All matches of the tournament will be played in the BO3 format.

Distribution of prize money and RMR points on Tribo to Major:

1. $7,000 + 2,500 points.
2. $4,000 + 2344 points
3. $3,000 + 2188 points
4. $1,000 + 2031 points

Only one team will receive a trip to ESL One Rio 2020 from South America. BOOM is currently the leader in the RMR rankings of the region. All the Brazilians need to do to get to Major is take at least third place in Tribo to Major.

1.  BOOM – 1600 points
2.  Isurus – 1200 points
3.  Imperial – 840 points
4.  RED Canids – 780 points
