olofmeister stepped down from FaZe

FaZe player Olofmeister Kaybier has announced the decision to temporarily leave the CS:GO competitive scene to restore his health and think about his future. The 28-year-old Swede complained about fatigue and loss of motivation.

The official FaZe announcement does not say who will fill the starting five of the team at the upcoming tournaments. According to insider Jarek "DeKay" Lewis, the club is in talks with 16-year-old Lithuanian Aurimas "Bymas" Pipiras.

He started his career as a professional player at Counter-Strike in 2010. Between June 2014 and August 2017, he represented fnatic, under the aegis of which he became the champion of majors twice. With FaZe he won the ESL One New York 2017, ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier 2017, Esports Championship Series S4 Finals and EPICENTER 2018.

On May 25-27 FaZe will participate in the DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 group stage for Europe. Nikola "NiKo" Kovac's team will face fnatic, GODSENT and Team Spirit.
