ESL changed qualifiers format for Road to Rio qualification
ESL has updated the format of the Road to Rio qualification for the CIS as Hellraisers has released its roster and will not be able to compete for vacant slots in the upcoming championship. Due to the reduced number of participants, Nemiga, 1WIN and pro100 will not face the Double Elimination grid bracket originally planned, but within the Round-robin group.

Also, the organizers of ESL One: Road to Rio officially confirmed that the slot of the Brazilian team TeamOne, which the day before declined direct invite due to the need to change the region, will receive the winner of the match paiN - Imperial. These teams took 5th-6th places in the qualifying round for the major in Rio.
Qualifiers for the ranking championship will be run April 16-17. In the CIS and Asia there will be two slots each, while in the South American region the two above-mentioned participants will fight for one place.
