Games Clash Masters cancelled

Polish tournament operator Games Clash announced they cancel two previously announced tournaments scheduled for June and September this year. The reason for this decision is the coronavirus pandemic.

With great sadness, but unfortunately due to the global coronavirus threat (COVID-19) Games Clash Arena 2020 in Gliwice and Games Clash Masters 2020 in Gdynia are suspended for this moment.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a real and global threat, and almost all over the world the number of cases is increasing. We keep our fingers crossed for all services and institutions working on combating the problem and encourage you to follow the official recommendations. The health and safety of our guests, employees and partners has always been and will continue to be paramount. We believe that when the threat is over, we will meet again and again in the stands of the eSports struggle.

All participants who have purchased tickets for the event will soon receive a refund.

One of the Games Clash Series 2020 tournaments was to take place June 5-7 in the Polish city of Gliwice partnered with the modern multi-purpose arena Gliwice Arena. The second tournament was scheduled for September 11-13 in Gdynia, where the Games Clash Masters 2018 and 2019 were held.

Earlier, due to a deadly coronavirus pandemic, a number of prestigious tournaments have been cancelled, including Major ESL One Rio 2020. Already launched ESL Pro League S11 and Flashpoint 1 were forced to go online, while the upcoming championships are being postponed to 2020 fall.
