Pro players ask to nerf SG 553 once more
Following the release of the CS:GO update on March 27th, which fixed the game's stutters with NVIDIA graphics cards, some of the CS:GO professional tweeted Valve once more with the call to nerf Krieg.
Doesn't it feel great spending your entire career being known for precise aim and then they just add a gun with a scope that let's literally anyone just scope with perfect accuracy across the map and negate all skill.

It is noteworthy that not all professionals share the opinion regarding SG 553 nerf as a necessary option. For example, Alexander "s1mple" Kostylev said in his interview to DBLTAP that rifle does not need any changes, as its difference from AK-47 makes the game more variable.
SG 553 usage become much more widely spread after Valve reduced its price to $2,750in October 2018. The current price is now, which does not prevent the rifle from remaining the most popular weapon on the professional CS:GO scene.
