Winstrike Team Benches 4 CS:GO Players

Winstrike Team announced it will bench four of its Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players, leaving only Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhailov in the active lineup.

The announcement from Winstrike Team came Friday. It explained the latest results of its CS:GO team prompted the decision to bench Gregory "balblna" Oleinick, Aurimas "Kvik" Kvakšys, Nikita "waterfaLLZ" Matveyev, and Saveliy "jmqa" Bragin. Boombl4 is the only player on its active roster at the moment.

Winstrike Team apparently plans to build a new roster with Boombl4 and coach Dmitriy "iksou" Mihailichenko, though the decision is not definite. "Return of some players to the main roster is also possible, if required," the team said.

The team was a competitor at FACEIT Major London but had disappointing results. Winstrike Team ended the Major at 0-3, raising concerns about its roster. The team will need to make a decision within the next few days, however, as it is set to participate in the WESG qualifiers Monday.
