This will be the first Major that will have a significant crowd outside of the playoff portion of the event. The crowd has always been known as something as a barrier in the playoffs but this brings it right into the group stage.
Unlike the playoffs that will be at the Spodek Arena, the New Legends Stage will be played at the International Congress Center (ICC) which is located in Katowice, Poland. This is part of the IEM Expo Tradeshow and will not be the only event going on in the same center during the expo.
This will be a huge addition to the Major and will give fans even more opportunity to see their favourite teams play in one of the most important events of the year. The crowd will provide a new aspect to the event and shows the trend of the esports industry that has been growing at a high rate.
